Help needed with reset of Alarm System Error

Would anyone be able to offer advise please?

Tried to set alarm system came up with Error +Bat mis 001
Is there away to overide this so alarm can be set?
Have power to system

What make/model is it?
Probably easier to buy a new battery.

It is ADT Galaxy (I think)
Yes I am going to get new Battery but my Alarm Engineer is on holiday
and wanted to be able to use it till he get's back.
Seems poor show to me that although there is power to it the alarm cannot be set or can it?

thank you for helping, problem is I do not know engineers code, also if I get too involved (Changing Battery myself) it might offend the local engineer that services it.
Looks like I'll have to wait a few days till he returns
I'm sure with my old system you could still set the alarm as long as it had mains power, but battery warning light showed up
