HELP ME - Graphics calculator required

Hi peeps. I'm doing a maths OU course and I've come across a question that requires a graphics calculator. I've got the wrong feckin' calculator and can't find the function for love nor money?

If someone has a Texas Instruments TI-83 (Preferably) Can you punch in the following commands and tell me what the error message is?

71^79 ENTER

3 x -2^(3/4) ENTER

I can take an educated guess at these but wouldn't mind them confirmed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Hi, i used the TI-83 and this is the error message i get for the 1st one:

"ERR:OVERFLOW
1:QUIT
2:GO TO"

For the second one:
"ERR:SYNTAX
1:QUIT
2:GO TO"
