Ok I've had a dm500 running as a small server for family and friends for the quite a few years now and have had to repair the dm500 (clone) several times during this time for onboard power supply issues, I reckon that the stb is coming to the end of its life and I have been contemplating trying to set up an old acer aspire one with an external card reader and a Linux based OS. My question here guys is can someone with experience doing this help me over a couple of evenings to do this, It will take me some time to order whichever card reader so it will be probably a couple of hours of a couple of evenings spread out over a couple of weeks.
I'd really like to achieve this so would be tremendously grateful for any assistance.
