I'm staying with my parents over christmas and it seems I supplied them with this box years ago, problem is there are dozens of each channel and lots don't work, no doubt due to scans being done, I have downloaded TP_PROG.dbs which is from 2017 so fairly up to date, can any one advise how to update the channels, been searching for a while but no joy, I realize no pay channels will work ,

Delete all the channels and perform a scan from scratch selecting FTA only.

Hi, will try that but think some ones done that in the past leaving ten or so of each channel,

It is crap running scan on FTA only.
The last transponders i scanned on slybox/openbox i uploaded with FTA only with .dbs file in openbox section.
I have left them boxes behind now.

But delete all channels from box.
Reboot box.
Do blind scan FTA only.
Dump channels on (FAT32) memory stick.
Install PVR800 then adjust channels to your desire.
The blind scan will catch transponder codes.

When dumping .dbs file to drive. Rename it .abs for PVR800 to read.
Once you create FTA list save back to .dbs then run TP_PROGS into box.
