It is - but only with a decent mac and from what i gather they are very few and far between!!!
 
I thought that the cable modem hack had died a death years ago unless you had the skill to remove/reflash and replace the chip?
Is it still possible to clone a MAC with just an interface and software?

the modem scene is still going but as above you need a good mac for it to work and you can only trade macs
sniffing for macs is some times a none starter afaik
 
if he is on the same exchange but from a different area then yes
but as said before it can be hit and miss i have loads of macs that should work but dont
 
Cheers for the replies, is it as easy as it used to be or has it got a lot more difficult as there doesn't seem to be any talk of it on here or other similar forums. Do i need to remove the chip?

for the 250 it is the same
but the word is that an original dump is better than any thing tbh
they are still a couple of sites that still talk about modems
 
The last time i tried a 250, i couldn't get through to it as if it had been stream locked?

I'll do a bit of searching.

If you get a good mac then it will stay on but sadly most macs take a hit after 60 mins
