Guitar/Microphone USB interface

Im looking to get some kind of USB interface for my bass/guitar and a microphone. I have done some googling, and found this device: http://www.musiconmypc.co.uk/produc...products_id/244

Is this the cheapest one available? I dont want to do a direct connection with my sound card(low quality built into laptop one)

Also I see this is compatible with ProTools so if i ever decide to use that instead of the included software/any i currently have, can use it without any problems.

if you want a nice all in 1 solution look no further than the Line 6 TonePort
its more expensive but its basically got all you need for recording on your pc
its an impressive little box and great value for money

Looks quite good, just had a quick look. Will look into it more though. Hopefully buy one at some point next year.
