this is very nasty they should not have done this .
we paid money for our stuff so dmm should take it on the cloner in china not the buyer we don't make them.
and if we didnt have clone then maybe all of use went to get a original .

Well what is a clone?
you can buy a watch look a like as long as it has not got the name of the clone original on, also handbags , radios , tvs, as long as they dont carry the name, these are same but badged for different companys , still come from the same source,
so why is the fuss from Dreamboxes about clones,
my grass is the same colour as next doors.

This is the problem, a clone means a box that is the same and has the same dream badge and looks like the original. Receivers that are affected are not necessarily a clone. However, the gemini image is only written for the dreambox so if you decide to use it on another receiver at your own risk it cannot be anyone else's responsibility.

Either way it was a nasty trick but there really isnt any liabilty claim for damage to any box that is not an original dream. If you have a 'clone' or 'copy' then use a different firmware other than Gemini...... and that is exactly the outcome that they (Gemini/DreamMM) want .
