The X-Files star David Duchovny has confirmed that co-star Gillian Anderson is up for doing a second movie.
The pair - Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in the cult series - were last seen on screen together for the final episode of the TV series in May 2002. Now Duchonvy thinks "the time is right" to bring the characters back.
"We're all on the same page," the actor told TeleText. "Gillian Anderson wants to do it, I want to do it, Chris Carter, who would write and produce the film, wants to do it and I believe Fox the studio wants to do it.
"When you have the four major players in the enterprise wanting to do it, it will happen. It's just a matter of when. I hope it happens within the next year."
