Lol it does take some getting used to, these types of controls have been used before (Shenmue) but evidently they don't get used often - ironic though that Shenmue and Heavy Rain are similar games (NOT story or style!) and they use the same control scheme just about.
Both cracking games too!

hmm how annoying im pretty skint at the moment
actually ive just remembered im a member of that continuous play, not sure they've ever taken money off me but they did fix my console when the drive died i wonder if contollers are included?

Out of luck mate, they stopped doing the continuous play thing about a year ago because people were abusing the system. Besides DS3's are £30 or less. Sucks being skint but do you not have any dvd or games you can trade in that you no longer want or need ? your local CEX (if you have one) is a good stop for trade value, GAME and Gamestation just rip you off - I once got £60 extra by trading at CEX as compared to the other two, I had to do a double take when he said we give £120 - this is as compared to the £60 tops that the other two were offering....

Nope it's for everyone. Besides that do pads fall under the console warranty deal anyhow ? I'm not so sure. I'm fairly sure the console companies could right easy turn around and say it's not the console itself that's faulty.....

just kidding, but seriously though you'll get quite a lot of trade value at CEX if you happen to have Mass Effect2 to trade in, only thing is it's 1 new game and brilliant at that - no your eyes aren't deceiving lol, I praised a 360 game but why wouldn't I there's lots that are good that I enjoy playing on the 360, Wii and PS3. I trade a lot of so-so stuff in on each too. Might say I'm a CEX master! Speaking of CEX if you go to their website (www.cex.co.uk) you can look up what you're trading and see what they give out for it for both cash and credit before you even enter the store and get in line - nowt worse than queuing for half an hour or more to get to the counter only for them to tell you they give peanuts for it lol.....they're feckers though I'm positive they just take what they want and leave your shite lol.

if u are an existing continuos play customer, then u are still covered. aslong as u are still making your monthly payments. it is just not accepting new customers anymore

In that case he's likely already paid for his pad repair at least 30 times over. Or console repair twice over, depending on which way you look at it. Are you certain people who signed up are still covered m8 because they stopped it as people were abusing the system, keeping it going for people still signed up wouldn't achieve anything, because the ones abusing the system would still be signed up and paying a sub but making money on the PS3's essentially - buying a duffer, getting it repaired and selling it on. I was stupid not to sign up and do that myself lol - easy money.

lol well that was the original idea, picked it up dirt cheap then got it repaired the next day lol but for some reason ive juat ended up keeping the damn thing. its handy for youporn and ordering pizza on the tv lol.
really must check a bank statement again but im pretty certain that they never once charged me despite repairing the broken ps3.

yep definately still going. the ones who are signed up still, and paying their dues, are not the one who were abusing it.
the reason it was shut down, was because people were waiting until their ps3 broke, then signed up for continous play, got it repaired from them. then cancelled the cover.
the ones who are paying every month, are the people they targetted in the first place. so anyone still signed up should be paying every month.
@jamesyboyjim..... the best thing to do is phone them and risk it, and see if they will replace it. u got nothing to loose. and if they say u failed to pay your monthly subscription, put the blame right back on them by insisting its their responsibility to take the money from your account. they might replace it as a good will gesture, and let u resume paying the monthly subscription. then cancel it, after they replace your ps3 or pad

Mine's in the post lol, should be here tomorrow. That makes two games I've paid full whack and pre ordered for in the last 5 months, last one was Uncharted2 - this game is fantastic too in all fairness. Just my type of game. One that I can sit down and get right into.
