Hi guys trying to flash my dm500s with the gemini 420 image and getting error message file too big any clues.??

The gemini image was downloaded from this site surely it would not be a backup image, I am using dreamup with a null modem cable and how would i know if it was a backup image.?

How big IS the image? Should be around 5 mb. Plus, you'll have to erase with dreamup before you flash it.

The raw Gemini 4.20 image is 4.92MB. Any bigger than that and it's been modified.

If it's the version I uploaded then it's bigger because it had EMU included to make it easier for you to use.

Just use dreamup and you'll be fine.

Glen what emu have you installed in it

It's got Mgcamd_1.27, Evocamd_2.12 & Gbox_2.25c.

Modified it for cable but should work ok on satellite. Will need to add your own keys though.

do we rename it or different program to flash it with.
