ftp to ur box ??? HELP

i want to add missing channels to my dreambox 500c when i ftp it am i ment to connect a ethernet port or a null mode cable fist time thats all ,

You cannot ftp with a null modem cable. You will need a straight ethernet cable iof you are connecting through a router or a cross-over cable if you are connecting directly to your Dm500.
