Freeview Signal Splitting?

Morning all,

If i put up an aerial and it had a signal quality of say 90%, if i split it, what sort of percentage could i expect to get to the 2 receivers?

it depends, you can buy a splitter that boosts the signal as well, which would be better than an ordinary splitter

If i just used a normal splitter, roughly how much signal would be lost? (one reciever will be 10 feet from the aerial and the other 30 feet)

its a simple 50/50 split. Cable lengths of those distances will make little or no difference. If you split it from the output of a dvd recorder or similar it will be better.
