Hey dudes... when u want 2 enter the freeview code, i never tried it be4 but i always get the message WRONG PIN... is that cuz the database has not been updated since the 10th of july? does it need updatin everyday or shud it last for a week? my freeview is part of the LCD TV so may mine subscription mean i cant get it like that? how does it all work... does the freeview tuner send the command/release code to the network? poor signal may have anything2do with it?

i used to do them in the setanta days.
my nova-t card is currently not installed in p.c,but its been a while .
i used the xtraview keygen once i had the mhg dumps.
tbh its not worth the hassle anymore for tvx,as satellite is better if you want that sort of thing.

why does no one hack the topup, is it because of the poor choice of channels? or am i wrong is there anyway to run it on a pc using a softcam? i have a dual dvb-t card if so what software is neeeded
Well, yeah, the channel choice isnt great, plus your not getting full channels, also especially now they use custom boxes for the service which can handle the downloads, you need to spend at least some money with tutv (or buy a box from someone else).
The encryption they use has been hacked, just that noone has managed to figure out tutv's encryption keys.

Can we not use a dreambox to aquire the keys we need to make an AU work?

Keys are stored on the card and this cannot be read. Its not as simple as that either because keys are used to access keys lol, so you need to learn a lot about the internals of the card which a dreambox cannot do for you.
Even if you log the stream it does not contain keys as they are super-encrypted (encrypted encryption) so data is no use without knowing the method & values used to decrypt.
