Freestyle 3 inlcuding LiNK BETA mandatory update - FreeStyle Dashboard Releases - RealModScene

A mandatory update for F3 including LiNK and WebUI will be available on F3 auto-updater for authenticated users.
Make sure you have your xbox authenticated with jqe360.com and have beta updates enabled in the settings panel.
Auto-update for other users and a full release package to update offline will be available later this week.

A few important changes:

Plugin now runs on Retail or Devkit (and RGLoader) Consoles.
DEVLINK IS NOW REQUIRED TO BE TURNED OFF
This update is MANDATORY. The LiNK website(link.jqe360.com | Xbox 360 System Link community) will be upgraded and the current plugin will no longer work.
Be sure to cold boot (power off then on) the console after update completes in order to load newest plugin

*** Authentication for WebUI is hardcoded to f3http/f3http for now ***

this works so well now i cant believe it.... i get less lag playing yanks on sys link than i did against the french on xbl... im currently as we speak in a lobby with 17 others playing free for all on black ops 2 and its the most fun ive had playing the game, no campers no neds just run and gun fun... no one needs gun unlocks or a k/d they can show there friends etc... so no one plays like they do on xbl.. its run and gun and its fecking great stuff.

Looks like its dead..(maybe temp)... Been playing today, took a break and went back to it later and its giving a corrupt data received message... The website isn't responding either and when it does it doesn't load up right... Hope its only temp as I was enjoying bo2 online with it.... My legit console is now getting sold or it was until this happened, I don't like the fact you have to be linked to the website to play, site goes down no online...

I suppose a link to something is needed so u can see every ones console in the way every one is linked to xbl on un modded boxes . The site does go up and down the same way xbl or the ps3 servers do, remember this is an ongoing project and the site going down now and then for improvements is to be expected.

It will be back , sell your other one if u feel the need

I think something is in the pipe line... well unless this has been available for everyone and just not on my console that is.... when you go to edit skins you have the option to edit the tabs.....

well when i click edit tabs i get another menu that i dont have on my xbox.. it only apears in edit mode... its called network.

i could explain whats in there but i'll post pics.... does anyone have this on there xbox as standard (not in edit mode) or is it something thats in the pipeline that will be activated in an update down the line... if so this will get a lot better as you'll have real friends lists.. looks like it'll use your email and msn messenger.

Utteryl agree with you mate, this fantastic I dont think we are gonna need xbox live for long if this continues.

You need to set your paths in dashlaunch bud , if you boot into xex menu from metro dash then start the installer default.xex you should then be able to adjust your launch.ini

Put the latest dashlaunch default.xex (found in the dashlaunch `installer` folder)file on a fat32 usb stick and boot up the box with it plugged in then you should be able to set your settings from there.

I dont have that on my dash, but its hidden in there somewhere as it does show when you go into edit mode on your skins/themes, thats where i saw it and thought wtf???

hopefully this is a WIP and will be added to the "LINK UP" online play side of things as its ok online but you really do need the friends thing as you make friends on it then can never find them again.
