Sega has announced that Sports Interactive's Football Manager 2009 will be released on PC, Apple Mac and PSP on November 14.
The publisher confirmed that the eagerly-awaited management game will not be released on home consoles during a London press conference last night.
Developer Sports Interactive said the title will not be appearing on the Xbox 360 due to the "troubles encountered transferring the complex PC interface to the system's joypad".
The firm's Miles Jacobson said he is now looking at games such as Take Two's Civilization: Revolution for ideas on how to make the best use of the Xbox 360's controller.
