Flashing without using ethernet?

Hi Guys,

Is there anyway to flash a dbox2 without using the ethernet port? i.e with just using the null modem cable?

Reason i ask is a m8 is bringing me his box tomorrow to work for the au fix and he tells me his ethernet port is knackered on his box (not sure how true this is as hes a bit of a numpty when it comes to computer/technology stuff!)

yes you can - the guide is in tools and packages in the download - you will need hyperterminal, XP has it out of the box

Yes this is possible and i think its the best and easiest way using null cable. Download the IFA program and you can use null cable with that program.
