Flashing Hitchi 0059DJ problem

Hi all,
trying to flash my sons 360, have opened it up and I have a Hitachi Rom version 0059DJ, I have downloaded all the appropriate files and I have used the SLAX method to get into ModeB, my computer is showing the correct DVD, the dvd tray auto ejects after closing, and you need to press open twice to open the tray, but when I follow the remainder of the tut the firmware is not being flshed to the drive

any help please

What SATA chipset you got mate?

Is it a desktop PC u are using mate and have you plugged the drive directly into the motherboard?

yes mate plugged into the sata0 port, I can see the dvd and if I put a disk in I can read it with explorer

Are you using `iXtreme1.4_Hitachi_C4EVA_rev1`to flash?

sorry mates, a little bit of fiddling and I DID IT.....................:THANKS:

I was booting of the xbox drive, that was my mistake, hope this will help someone else
