flashed 360 but drive saying disc unrcognised

just flashed my t/s drive fingers crossed.
but when i put a backed up game in the drive says unrecognised disk.
is there a diffrent way off booting?
think the flash went o.k
came up with bank 3 via master
then flashed bank 0-2 all saying o.k reboot pc

Make sure you use a good quality DL disc. Try re-burning

can someone confirm that this is the correct way of flashing the 360

im using a sata pci card with via 6421 using(530c drivers)
when rebooting with floppy
i type mtkflash w xtreme.bin
pc comes up with drives scanned
1 ide pri slave
2 ide sec slave
3 via8237 pri master
i chose3
then says port a000,masterslave:a0
flash type: sst(sst39sf020)
updating bank 0 ok
updating bank 1 ok
updating bank 2 ok
updating finished!datasum f2f8,opc sum o

what dvd burner you using???

as you need to be able to set the burner to burn dl dvds as a dvd-rom.

not all burners allow you to do this.

also was it a backup of your own games or was it a backup from the net???

using HL-DT-ST DVD-RW (NOT SURE WHAT BRAND)in my laptop
ive got a pioneer 108 but not sure if compatible.
i downloaded the images from newsgroups.
and just burnt the image via clonecd

your drive is an LG
it could be the writer that you are using then.

try burning with the pioneer????

not sure if its compatible, somebody else might beable to answer that!

the pioneer 108 is crap for 360 games,get hold of a pioneer 110 or a 111-both available for about 20 quid,the 108 doesnt set booktype,and doesnt let you do it either

i agree with violentj

he recommended to me to buy the pioneer 111

cost me £22ish, which was a bargain considering its the best copier for the games. i have burned 22 backups with it so far, only 2 coasters, but that was my fault not the copier.

so splash a little cash, its well worth it.

gonna get a 111is the pioneer 112 anygood(laptop)

but around 8 games load on t/s drive
and only 1 game has tried to load on my hitachi drive(came up with update needed)and updated but did not load
all i get now is disc is dirty
is this to do with dvd writer or is there something wrong with flash on hitachi drive i used the opa 2_1 firmware

hitachis can be very very fussy when it comes to the media they will boot up,ive found that hitatchis work well with verbs and ritek do1 dye--some hitachis seem ok with the rioch variant-

well from what oyu wrote it seems the flash has gone ok,and yeah burning em on verbs withthe 111 should be fine,asuming you have working ,correct ss sectored images

what about the flash on the hitachi , none of the 8 games work ,which work on the t/s drive,will this be to the dvd writer im using?
