Encryption change in April????

Heard rumours from a couple of sources that an encryption change is planned for some time in April. Anyone else heard this? <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

I have read this on other forums they are saying something about seca 2 being rolled in but there does not seem to be any official press release.<br />Could this be chinese whispers or the boys from u know who trying some propaganda to put any wouldbe h**ker off ? wats your thoughts

seca 2 was introduced on digital sattelite and was hacked within hours,so i wouldnt worry too much about it folks.

Whether SECA2 is coming or not, it won't be April for sure. These things take time to roll out, no way in 3 - 9 weeks.

For a start they'd be shouting about it to their shareholders. They'd also need to give subscribers notice.

And when you're making losses you can't afford the roll out costs and, lets face it, they're doing a good job at nailing the traders which was the biggest issue for them.

When they start making money is when they will change - probably early 2003.
