elonex etouch android tablet

bought one of these the other day, mainly as an ebook reader and it is fine for that and browsing the net (slowish...) but it is running 1.6 mobile firmware, is there any way to upgrade this to 2.1 or 2.2
i have searched the net but not found anything that say's it can be done
anyone know any different.

Kids got one for Xmas and as far as I no they are not updatable

I don't know about your device mate but I'd have a look over at xda-developers, if there's no help over there you'll be struggling.
