Electricians Advice Needed

I have a dual voltage shaver socket in my bathroom on its own switched spur and the fuse has blown, it had a 13a fuse in it, i have replaced it wit a 5a and its not blown it so dosent seem to be a fault.

My question is what fuse should be in it as i thought 13a was i bit high for just a shaver socket.

Thanks in advance Derek

FFS! A shaver socket should only have a 1amp fuse in it. The muppet who put a 13amp fuse in is putting your life at risk. Remember that they're positioned near water.

I think you should be trying to find out why the 13A blew in the first place!

But if the 5A hasn't blown since you put it in, you should be ok.

Thanks for all the replys lads, think i will put a 3amp fuse, think it should be ok with that.

Cheers Derek
