edit cam files

Hi, i have ftp cafe and es explorer so i can ftp into satellite recievers but im having trouble trying to edit the config files, i cant seem to do it threw the programs and i ha e also downloaded the config files onto android device but nothing seems to open them to allow me to edit them or anything, what are people using to open and edit config files ? Thanks

I have not tried any of the following as I use a PC. Text editor Apps - Android

it can all be done with es file explorer mate.. ftp.. edit files.. save files... es does the lot!

As above,just press and hold the file you want to edit and you will get a pop up screen,
One of the options will be Open as,choose that then choose text
