BEWARE

Looks like there is a rise in Ebay spoofs at the moment. I have received four this week and the guys at work are all getting them too.

It starts ith an email asking you to confirm your details that looks like a standard text email. Then about a week later they send another more official one that appears to be from ebay saying your account will be suspended unless you logon - and they nicely provide a window and buttons for you to enter your details into and log in!!

It is a spoof and the details are posted to a site called Eday. When last checked eday had been taken down but it won't take long for them to do another.

If you think you may have been a victim then change your password from the ebay homepage now. If you receive an email and you are not sure if it is legit then check out the spoof page under security, again from the ebay home page. There is also a link there so send a copy of the email to them to try and stamp this out.
