I think ive worked out all the problems ive been having with E1 compiling

on the memory stick using vmware, a lot of the file paths start

home/ubuntu/technomate/TM_CVS/TM_CVS

and from my hard drive vmware, they start

home/ubuntu/TM_CVS

so where im trying to run a diff to find whats what, EVERYTHING is different, just about every file

is there any tool i can run, that will go through the files, which were compressed within an older ubuntu in vmware, but are now on my desktop in a new ubuntu, and will change the file paths from the old setup, to this new one so i can try and see the differences between the working DW E1FTA fileset, and the UR files i have?

I normally have 1 called orig.cvs and tuxbox.cvs when I did the dm500 stuff and used this
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
called from the terminal but you could try

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
or
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
it depends what one you want to use as the base.

I havn't tested this method as I don't have your directory structure.
Not had a chance to check the tm800 stuff but I will be removing the crappy ppanel password sh!t.
