dvd recorder with cable tuner

Hi All,

Have any of you guys got a LG dvd recorder, Model : DRT389H.
On the specs it says it has got a CATV tuner.
Just wanted to know if it will work with VM before I get one.

it would need a cam slot even if it has a a cable tuner to decrypt most channels

just had a look at the 3d view on lg website i cant see a cam slot

why dont you buy a cable box (CATV) twin tunner version with a hard drive from fleaBay, if you have cable tv , cost you around 150 + pp, like sky box record 1 channel watch another, far better with hard drive than dvd.
