dvd player help plz

Hi i have an old ariston 2000, i got the bend it like beckham VCD from a mate the other day and it was only on 1 GOLD DISK, but whenever i put it in the player it just said no disk, so i was wondering if the pacific player from ASDA plays the gold disks,

hi m8 no they wont go to richersounds get one for £80 plays them all dvd,vcd,svds,dvdr,cdr,mp3's
