CD & DVD dvd dont read or copy

hello guys... sorry but i need help.... my cd room dont reading any more... i dont know what happen to it... i can copy mp3 files but i cant copy any dvd or any other files and no read also... i dont know if need update or is broke.. i tryed to update it it's tellin u have letast vasion i really i dont know whats wrong with it. any body can help... thanx

it might be reading a little fast causing the disk to slip
try lowering the read speed on a cd writing program and see if it helps
is it a writer if so does it write disks
