dsixl getting peed off now any help ?

so here is the the story
i have a dsixl on 1.4.4e
an r4i gold
acekard2i ( this is a clone i think ) managed to get this to upgrade to 1.44
and an r4i sdhc upgrade ( upgrade in grey ) arrived today from mrmodchips
none of these seem to work in the dsi all i get is
an error has occurred blah blah
anyone got any ideas how i can get one of these to work

when i put acekard in i get this in may not be right one check site
but with all of the carts i get the error message in dsi
been trying to update the ace and the r4i gold in a ds lite

when you put the acekard in the dsi (even without a microsd card in it), it should show up as an icon which you tap on to start the card.

what icon does it show as?

btw, do normal catridges work ion the console ok?

do the flashcarts work in ther dslite?

yes did get games to work on acecard r4i but get error 4 with the r4i in the ds lite

you will need to update the acekard, do you have the dslite to hand?

card does say that it is a clone when i treid to update but still managed to do it some how

does it have the anticlone sticker on the back?

anyways, here is what to try.

1. format your microsd card (fat32) or use a spare if you have one.

2. download the attached file.
View attachment AKAIO.1.8.9.rar

3. extract the attached file to the root your sd card.

you should have two files and one folder on your sd card now.

1. _aio folder
2. ak2ifw_update_3ds_42_dsi144_onDSL.nds (this is the update file)
3. akmenu.nds

put the sd card in acekard and put it in dslite

4. fire it up, browse to the update file and follow onscreen instructions.

hopefully card will update...

then put the card in the dsi and see if the icon has changed to "RAFA NADAL TENNIS"

if it has, you will be good to go..

nope no sticker m8 and when i put files on and put it in ds lite it says

get lost you loser this may not be real your a bum and no one likes you not even me lol with clone3 at the top

well if its a clone you cant use that card on a 1.4.4 dsi..
tbh, there practically useless because newer firmware doenst alway work on them either...

move along to the next card then.. lol

your r4i card, need some more details about it.

whrer did u buy the card? can u link to it ( i will remove the link once i have seen it)
can u post a picture of the card?
does the card work on any console? like the dslite?
do any games work at all?
have you had any games working on any console?

if you can't post a picture can u give as much detail as possible,

web address printed on card/packaging,any writing on the card at all, colour etc... give as much detail as possible m8..

ok so i got the r4i from mrmodchips not on there now ?? no idea and i got an r4i gold 1.4
the r4i i just got has not sticker on front but sticker on back

i dont think that card can be updated to work on a dsi 1.4.4, whats the web address on it and what the number in the green splash?

nope, they cant be upgraded m8....

the upgradable cards came along a bit later on....

back to the acekard, one last thing to try...

your card is set for 1.4.1 dsi, we could try updating to 1.4.2 first.

extract that to your sd card with akaio firmware and try and update with that...

ok so what i had to do was use AKAIO.1.4.1.PROPER_Repack_5_4_09 and i got it to update that file you sent m80

must be a clone card right enough...


i hate to be the bearer of bad news , but you wont get any of them to work on the dsi...

i'm just full of good news lol...
