Dreambox Remote Via MCE Remote / Key

Ive tried forever to get my Eagle Box (DM500s Clone) to stream its video from the living room to the bed room without any luck! sometimes certain channels will work but usually itll have broken up picture or go green

Ive rang a S-Video -> Scart Cable from living room to the bed room and its working fine.

Thing is i cant change the channels is there any pc based software that i can link my media center remote to the remote commands on the Eagle Box

i know it can be done as my pli image allows me to do this via the web interface. But that doesnt allow me to lie in bed and change channels

You can get remote control extenders, then use the normal dreambox remote. Not sure theres media center software though? Previously I read somebody on here uses his wifi phone to change channel by webif.

you could also use the web interface to change channel, you would need a pda, smartphone or laptop.
