dreambox - playing dvds from pc

is there a way to stream dvd video from my pc with a dvd drive to the dreambox 500c?

I think it can be done with vlc but I can't find any instructions on how to do it.

NFS share

You should be able to share files on your PC to the dreambox via an NFS share. I tried it myself with limited success. As i remember it some file formats worked and some didn't.

yep u may stream any file u want use the vlcnf plugin on ya dreambox and set up your mount and vlc then choose ya file jobs good un
