Dreambox or Dbox2

I am thinking of getting one of them but not sure witch one to go for i am in pure ntl if that makes a diffrence?

Pretty much do the same thing. Only the dreambox is brand new with a 12 month warranty.

hi i dont know about the dreambox 500c myself i am thinking of getting one but nobody will tell me how i would update the keys as some people say they auto update in this case would i never have to update the box again (or do i have to put something on the box first) or if the keys would have to be updated how do i do it and where do i get them from.

90% of images released for UK cable are plug and play. All you have to do is scan for channels and you're away.

The built-in softcam will update the keys from the stream automatically.

so does these boxes not have to be updated like the starview for example or have i got the wrong idea about the updates?
do i not have to update the emus or anything like that?
