you may get code from serial from dealership or paid service website
code is normally got by reading a chip within the radio but it is a bit of a specialists job

Hi there.
I recently purchased a seat Ibiza 2007.
When I got it home and attempted to drive the next day it wouldn't start.
I had to replace the battery.
I tried the code for the radio that was written on my manual, it was incorrect.
Could someone please help me out?

unfortunately the only way to get code from serial will be from the dealership or maybe paid service website
code is generally got by reading a chip within the radio but this is a bit of a specialists job
EDIT: you say you entered a code and it didn't work...did you enter it correctly

I entered the code and initially held on 'scan' when this did nothing I then did a quick search and discovered it was actually a different button to be held, still no joy.
Partner thinks it may be a new radio.
I'm a little wary of paid service websites, is there one you could recommend?

I can't recommend because I have never used any
there will probably be a local radio decoding service near you
when you enter code I think for your model you hold the AS button until you hear a beep
