Phone Unlocking dongle question

Not too up on this dongle broadband stuff so need a bit of advice for father-in-law

He wants to use the internet but doesnt want to pay for a monthly contract like with broadband. He wants something similar to dial up where you pay as you go. He will only use it about once a month but I dont know what is available as I am on virgin

Any advice guys?

Have a look at the thread below, postage is not £4.99 anymore, it has gone up to £9.99 but still cheap.

Basically get the dongle for free + postage, unlock for free, get an Iphone Sim for £2 and top it up with £10, there you go fre internet. If he isnt downloading stuff and just wants it for general internet use then it may be worth thinking about.
