Dm500+

I just bought a DM500+ to receive Free-to-air Astra 19.2.

First of all, the new box uses DreamUp v.1.3.2.1 instead of v.1.3.1.0 but only .nfi files can be uploaded to the box. This means that the existing Gemini images no longer work.

Any idea if it is possible to convert the Gemini images to this .nfi format or is it totally different?

Sigh - so near yet so far.

Images can't be converted from one platform to another.

There are specific images out for the 500+ just like any other dreambox receiver.

Sorry to hijack this. What's a 500+, is it just a 500 with larger flash memory?

That's about the full of it, yes.

More flash memory and more ram.

It allows for better plugins such as a web browser to be used.
