Db800hd no Tuner A found

Hi

I have been usung my DB800hd clone M tuner for a few weeks now without issues, however since last saturday the picture froze and I now have the message no Tuner found. I have tried re flashing with various images with the correct BL without any success. So assumed it was the tuner that was faulty, purchased a new M tuner fitted reflashed but the same message.

Anyone have any ideas as I am pulling my hair out !

Hi

Currently Blackhole V0.10 it states it has detected NIMs Tuner A (empty)

this has been the same on Openpli, Gemini 5.10, & Newnigma

Will the drivers be the same for 800hd and 800se?

However notice these are for dm800se mine is a 800HD are they the same

Also not to sure how to place the drivers

I think I've only ever once had a similar problem where the tuner just wouldn't show, even after flashing and re-flashing.

I in the end just kept on messing around with the tuner setup, satellite finder options and then did an automatic scan, in that order and that somehow kicked the tuner config back into life.

Not suggesting that that is your problem but worth a try, maybe?

I downloaded and applied the image but same problem Tuner A (empty)

I really do not know what else to do it is though there is some software missing

Whilst the nemesis is a great image I still have the Tuner A: (empty)nothing message

I just do not know what else to do are there any drivers I need to download

what is origin bootloader re load that and then flash the image

Deffo sounds like a bootloader issue,try flashing just the matching bootloader for the image you have on

Have you checked the system board for any scorching. Just going down the trouble shooting it sounds like a hardware issue. Another one is to change the psu, I know it may sound stupid but it seems to solve a mixture of issues with these boxes.

Loaded the BL ssl84b then reflashed the image but sadly this has not worked.

I really appreciate th advice you have given me but there is clearly something wrong with this box
