`damaged win xp pro cd

Does anyone know how I can get around this problem, there must be scratches on the cd, I need to reinstall windows on a desktop pc but it fails half way through the installation, I guess what I'm asking is does anyone know how I might obtain a downloadable copy?

torrents or newsgroups? or if the disk is scratched you could get it repaired at gamestation or somewhere similar

It doesnt look to be all that bad but it threw up a few file install errors when I tried to use it, was hoping to be able to get it sorted this eve, its for a neighbour of mine who is quite old and I offered to have a look at it for him, now after re formatting HDD and starting from scratch its worse than it was lol

Just bung a copy of Windows 7 on it.
Only takes a minute to activate it.
