Question for a computer expert. If I want to upgrade my notebook which has 2 x 256MB 200pin SODIMM DDR 333MHz PC2700's can I use the RAM from Devilfishes post above? I guess the speed is not an issue since Devilfishes is faster, not sure about the DDR versus DDR2 though? Any advice appreciated.

DDR and DDR2 are different, you can't put DDR2 into a DDR system.

It doesn't matter if you put faster ram into a pc/laptop that runs slower, the ram will be backwards compatible and will run at the slower motherboard speed.

That's what I feared, was hoping your link would have done the trick. Thanks for confirming.
