crackling audio

hi guys just bought openbox s9 as a replacement for dm500s
is there anyway you can change the audio streams,it seems to happen on the movies was wondering if its the ac3 sound thats causing the problem,
plz help great wee box but the crackling is a bitch:

It IS a problem with the AC3 audio stream. I believe it's a firmware issue. If it becomes unbearable, press the audio button at the top of the remote and select a different stream.

You should also upgrade to the latest firmware and see if that helps.
