commando 14.6 to oscam only help

im really struggling with dm500 commando 14.6 and oscam only i carnt get it clear channels when its in my dm500 do i need other files on a fresh install ect camd ive added oscam by taking it out of zip and adding it dm500 now says its there to switch on or off but it doesnt add any oscam configs so i have put mine in

really need to sort clearing my card first before i look at connecting sister brother ect that sould be straight forward i think

au stands for auto update which keeps my card alive by receiving entitlements through EMM's. If I want my server with my card to receive EMM and update entitlements I set au = 1 in Dvbapi. If I wanted to receive EMM through my clients I should set au = 1 in the chosen account in Oscam User. If I don't want to receive EMM from clients I set all accounts to au = 0 or leave it blank?
At the minute I have both dvbapi and user accounts set to au = 1, I'm not sure if this set up has actually updated entitlements because they are currently valid for another couple of months. I'll probably change the user accounts to au = 0.
What do you think? Have I got this right?

That seems spot on

If you don't want to receive EMM from clients set all accounts to au = (leave it blank)

Still have to confirm all this as learning my-self ;)
 
Lee when you have ftp all your config files have you set to 755 (right click on the file -> File permissions -> 755 -> OK)

Can you access webif? What info does it give, can you see your card?
 
Bit of a update spent all last night at this commando 14.6 was a BIG NO NO ended up doing exactly same on pli image big YES YES have it running oscam only
deleted cccam and cccam.cfg couple of questions now

1 = family are still using cccam and connected dont understand why ive deleted cccam.cfg so no nline ect ?
2 = updating entitlement do i need my cccam.cfg back with nline only in it and set my vuduo set to au = 1 in oscam.user all others set to =
3 = are people using whitelist as this should be in cccam.cfg and people are deleting there cccam.cfg

1. You don't need cccam cfg because Oscam is compatible with cccam, your lines have now been replaced with accounts in Oscam User.
2. Oscam will update entitlements through dvbapi so again no need for cccam.
3. At the minute I'm not using whitelist, I'll be looking into this next. If you want to use whitelist the option is available in Oscam Server.

Have a look at your webif, it'll help you understand it, type this into ie
192.168.xxx.xxx:8888 (Your dm ip:8888)

When you say not clearing, can you be any more specific?
Do you mean FTA are but premium are not?

You may need to enter your boxkey as not all versions of oscam will read it from the card

I think it's an oscam version problem,having the same trouble with somebody else I'm trying to help,

I know that oscam is running and that the configs are good, but i can't connect to the webif and it won't clear premium channels,

Sure we will get there in the end :)

Have just tried oscam version you posted here https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?threads/291781/ & I can now access webif but still no premium clearing or connecting to outside world?

Are you just using oscam on yours and what are the outside world using.
 
Yes, just using oscam & the outside world is using cccam.

Have just FTP Digger configs but not tried them out yet.
