Zapper, you didn't say what you were trying to copy and what settings you were using.<br />Depending on what you were copying you may need to use "Fast error skip"

Try downloading Nero from speccy site. I find it a lot better for audio. If you intend to stick with clone cd check what speed you are reading and writing at. Are you using decent disks?

hi mate thanks for the advice i have nerro but i use clone when nerro wont copy i will try what you said thanks

hi all

can anyone tell me wot is the best way to use clone is it no the fly or create an image to hard drive then back to blank disk?......

if iam copying on the fly is there a serton way to set up clone or should i just leave the settings alone.

just one more thing when copying, the two buffer lines saying 100% wot do they mean.not seen them before as i have only ever used nero.

thanks for any info

On the Fly is usually quicker but not always as reliable. Never use on the fly unless your burner is Burn Proof. This stops buffer underuns. If your burner is not burn proof and you insist on copying on the fly then ensure that your read speed is at least double than your write speed in order to compensate for buffer underun.

The buffers displaying oddly is because the write buffer is emptying almost as quick as it is filling from the read buffer. This is why you must have your speeds correct.
