Channel cut-out

Anyone any ideas why channels outwith basic pkg cut-out when I am watching channel for more than say, about 10 mins?
I normally just shutdown from the dbox menu and then turn back on and all is back to normal until another 10 mins.
I am normally one for mucking around trying all menus, but I had a it of trouble setting up dbox, and the last thing I want is to go through that again (a big thanks to liamcrayden and de deej for help by the way).

Is there anything on the 'settings / service menu' that will help me out?

ps I'm using sportster 1.76 3 and twscot service.

try a new image or try changing the ucodes.

My dbox is currently scanning, I know it probably didn't need one, but I thought I'd try it anyway.

I see Gav has posted a new sportser image, is it worth trying?

Also uncodes, is it easy to change without sabotaging dbox? What are they?
I've been trying to find details on how to use sportster menu, is there a link on site anywhere?
