I've just helped a friend install a CCTV set up
Hiwatch
3 cameras
Were both novices but we managed to get it up and running. The live view is very good for the price using decent hikvision dome cameras 40 ir.
One slight problem, the playback is choppy staggered like there's missing frames.
Now with these cameras you have a button and four selections for different cameras. Were not sure how to tell which it's on or if that makes any difference as they worked out the box.
Will it be in the DVR settings to chance frame rate bitrate or something ?.
Like I said , it's crystal clear on the TV liveview but it's like there's missing frames playing back recordings.
Any help would be great would be great just to iradicate it.
Someone said something about recording and playing back is the problem so only look at the one camera recorded stuff your playing back turn 2 off when watching playback .help please chaps.
Thankyou :)

The Button on the Camera itself is known as a 4 in 1 so its backwards compatible with older DVR systems, i would have thought the choppy playback will be the FPS setting in the main menu set them to the highest for local record playback
