Thats exactly how i would describe it, hit and miss, some people report no problems whilst others do have problems. One thing thats consistent across most of the cases where people have problems is that other boxs run fine on cccam 2.1.x just not the spiders.

like i say good box, but there are problems, keep it on 2.1.1 and youll almost guarantee no probs. And ive no doubt this trustworthy person will probably be in receivership of free stuff lol.

cheers for the reply mate, im after a box that allows recording function. I know their is the vu duo aand solo but they are way to much.

is their anything cheaper and stable that i can use for recording fucntion?

ive got dreambox 800hd with 170gb hd m8 and clone is good one never had any problems with tuner at all all hd channels are sound
