Carphone Warehouse in price war preparations
The battle lines are being drawn up as PC World and their sister company, Curry’s Digital Group, prepare to see what the new Carphone Warehouse and their electronics partner Best Buy have in store.
Currently they are sorting out some new property deals, which is something else in their favour as the credit crunch begins to bite not just homeowners, but commercial property landlords too, there is probably not going to be a better time to get some cut price retail space.
It is expected that there will be a price war sometime this year, maybe towards the end of autumn, but PC World are not hanging around as they are already planning a pre Carphone Warehouse/Best Buy battle by getting some great deals out there before the competition heats up.
