Card reader problem

got a card reader built into PC now all of a sudden its not showing in My Computer
I have reinstalled the drivers and setup exe from the backup files in D:driverestarted and its stil not there ??
its a Medion pc but Ill have to get the model # if that helps

Have you tried going into the Device Manager (Right click My Computer then Manage), deleting the reader from the list then rebooting the PC? The drivers should be installed automatically when it reboots.

Or try a system restore.

Also if you've recently installed any new software, i.e. cd/dvd burning software, remove it and see if it comes back.
