Card Dead???

Hi,

I have a DBMG2 card, I have entered the July codes LOADS of times, but each time after about 5 mins hte screen just goe blank.

There is no msg to insert smart card, just a big, black, nothing-ness on the screen. Has my card gone to the big STB in the sky, or can it be fixed??

At the moment I dont have a programmer, so please dont suggest re-programming the card.

sorry m8 youre card needs reprogramming as ondigital zapped the DMBG2 you need the new software

Sorry m8 but you will need to reprogram your card m8 to the kevlar 1.3 software .......
So you will need a programmer m8, sorry but the day as come when the dbmg2 as seen its day........Gazer

Ok, so I need to re-programme. Can I use my existing card, and just programme the new software to it??

Has anyone writen a tutorial for this yet?

starbug1234 I had the exact same problem with my dbmg2 card.
I used the new kevlar13 software and no problems since.
Yes you can use your existing wafer card.
Have you got a programmer now? If not then try: http://www.angelfire.com/electronic/wafercards/index.html He is very reliable and helpful. If you use him be sure to mention Highlander at Digital World.
