Can't see media servers

Can anybody shed some light on this?
I had PS3 media server running fine, now all of a sudden it won't show up when I search for media servers
WMP11 always shows up and connects just fine
I have also tried Nero and Tversity both of which have worked for me before
but no joy
The only thing I have done recently that I remember was setting up VLC
to stream to my Dbox and since then nothing but WMP11 shows

Looks like some system services could be disabled or not started.

Click Start and type Services.msc in the dialog box to open the services snap-in.

Then check if the following services are started:
--SSDP Discovery
--TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
--Computer Browser
--DNS Client
--Server

If not, set the startup type to automatic and click start to start the services.

I could not get PS3 media server to show, then i tried tversity which totally screwed with things dones as above and all show up no probs now.

hi ive got the same problem tried the steps above but stil no media servers were found any other things i could try?
