Can't play Avi's

I have an xbox with XBMC which plays mpegs fine but no other video files....
Is there a setting I need to change or am I using an old version... Not sure how to find what version I have ???

Sounds like you need to upgrade your XBMC.

Download the latest version then read here m8:
