Can't do full reset (firestick)

Hi all.
Had firestick 3 months and worked perfect. But today it's playing up.
Theres is voice narration when going through menu.
Also when I go into kodi I can't navigate left or right. Nothing wrong with remote as left and right works on home menu. If I try factory reset then asked to type in pin the numbers will not even show. If I press ok it says "control is not clickable"
i can't even reset it.

Help much appreciated folks.

I had pin set up for firestick in the settings.

can you not disable it factory reset should be simple

I know mate.
But as I had pin set up to stop young ones buying things when pin is setup you have to enter the pin to reset it.

Hold back button and menu button (not home button but with the button with 3 lines), it will turn off voice and remote will work hopefully.

Thanks mate. That fixed the sound issue. I had to ring Amazon about the pin.
To fix that I had to remove batteries from remote then turn firestick off. Then turn it back on then replace the batteries. It worked.
never heard of issue like that before.

Or just Hold down the Select button for 5 seconds to put the remote into pair mode
