Can I get a satellite box that isn't Sky?

Hi, I was wondering if I can get a satellite box where I can get UK football and English language films?

I have a Sky satellite dish.

There are loads of alternative satellite systems mate, and there are ways and means of receiving UK footy and English movies etc either through legal (kinda grey area) or illegal avenues.

Like IANB advises, ask this is the Satellite section for a more thorough reply.
